The Igbo-Biafra Nationalists/Movement and Advocates for Alaigbo Self-Determination, representing the Indigenous People of the Igbo Nation, is issuing this statement to reaffirm our mission and goals in fostering unity among the Igbo people and seeking self-determination for our ancestral homeland, Alaigbo.
Our primary objective is to unite the Igbo race residing not only in the South East region of Nigeria but also in the South South, Middlebelt, and even extend our hand of brotherhood to our Igbo brethren in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ivory Coast, and those in the Western world who were forced there through the heinous crime against humanity known as slavery.
At the core of our aspirations lies the survival and emancipation of the Igbo Nation state called Alaigbo. While our ancestral homeland is predominantly situated in the present South-East region, we recognize that the borders of Alaigbo could expand through continued consultation and collaboration with our Igbo brothers and sisters in the South South and Middlebelt regions. These communities have faced the unfortunate displacement from their natural environments and have been subjected to hostile territories, where they exist as minorities today. Alaigbo government Authority or any other as agreed would take over the steering mandate for the finalisation of STATE OF ALAIGBO
We commend the growing attention and support from the global Igbo community and others who have now embraced discussions on Igbo Nation self-determination. However, we urge them to acknowledge the grand and bold initiative that we, as the Igbo-Biafra Nationalists/Movement and Advocates for Alaigbo Self-Determination, initiated.
To those who hypocritically oppose our noble and common-sense initiative, we urge you not to fret. In due time, we expect you to align yourselves with our position and fully embrace Igbo Nation/Alaigbo self-determination. Failure to do so will render those in the criminal activities and sundry human rights violations masquerading as struggles or freedom, obsolete.
The journey towards the self-determination of the Igbo Nation will require the collective efforts, resilience, and commitment of all Igbo individuals and groups. We encourage open dialogue, inclusive discussions, and a spirit of unity among our people as we work towards securing the freedom and prosperity of our beloved Alaigbo.
Together, let us forge a brighter future for the Igbo people and uphold the principles of self-determination and freedom.
